Immigration Solicitor Vacancy
Salary: £33,000-£38,000 pro rata (4 days a week)
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Plus 3% auto-enrolment pension contribution, in line with government criteria. 28 hours a week with flexibility to handle the caseload.
The Immigration Solicitor should have at least three years of practice and sufficient experience in running cases such as family and private life applications, asylum claims and fee waivers. The Immigration Solicitor will help to develop We Belong’s legal practices and infrastructure and guide junior staff members through OISC registration process and assessment. The first 3-6 months of the role will focus on working with Senior Management to provide a series of training, support and information to junior staff and young people before beginning to give immigration advice and taking on casework.
If successful the applicant will be joining an award-winning youth charity and a staff team dedicated to improving outcomes for young migrants between the ages of 16-25 years old and empowering young people to create change.
Applicants must have at least 3 years minimum experience in case management and be regulated by the SRA.
